We are delighted to make a long-awaited return to the Seven Alpina Hotel in Klosters where we had several excellent ski/bridge holidays before lockdown.

Klosters (www.klosters.ch) is a captivating and welcoming mountain village, well linked to Davos and with extensive skiing right on the doorstep and just a three minute walk from our hotel. The summit of Klosters/Davos is 2845m so higher than most resorts.

The Seven Hotel Alpina is a first-class hotel in a prime position in the centre of Klosters. It provides guests with impeccable hospitality in a refined but cosy atmosphere. The hotel has excellent cuisine, spacious bridge room and superb spa facilities including an indoor swimming pool.

The well-preserved village, the refined ambience and the hearty welcome extended by the locals all combine to make visitors feel at home. Winter sports enthusiasts will find a broad range of activities, while those looking for more relaxing recreation can enjoy the scenic landscape during leisurely walks.

The hotel is rated very good on Trip Advisor and this was one of many excellent reviews:

“Beautiful Hotel just renovated; great location exactly in front of the station and gondola departure; cozy, comfortable, modern, elegant and equipped with everything you need. Beautiful relaxation area, swimming pool and sauna. Peak restaurant very good, really recommended both for food, both for the wine selection, and for the reception of all the waiting staff. Exceptional breakfast buffet and fast and courteous service. Absolutely worth a try if you come to Klösters!”

We will as ever have our personal team of wonderful ski hosts headed by Suzi McArthur and Paul Ubysz. They are either current or ex-Ski Club of Great Britain representatives.

Jack Stocken will be arranging all other aspects of the holiday and he will be hosting an informative and entertaining Bridge programme using Andrew’s excellent teaching material and set hands. The bridge (and skiing!) standard is friendly improver/intermediate.

You will need to book your own flights but if you book a specific flight (see brochure or online booking form) with British Airways, Heathrow to Zurich, then you can  join our group coach transfer to/from the hotel for a small fee.
