After the great success of our previous summer holiday to Lake Garda, we are delighted to return in 2022 for two separate weeks. Lake Garda is the largest lake in Northern Italy, about half-way between Brescia and Verona, and between Venice and Milan.
The average temperature for September is 25°C and the lake is warm enough to swim in! The 4* Grand Hotel Gardone was built in 1884 and having undergone recent renovations is the epitome of elegance and style, offering modern comforts and services. Set right on the lakeside, the hotel boasts one of the most prestigious destinations on the Gardone Riviera with wonderful lake views.

The hotel has an excellent restaurant overlooking the lake. The outdoor swimming pool is heated and overlooks Lake Garda. There is a lovely garden and promenade along the lake with several excellent golf courses nearby.
We will organise two full day (optional) excursions; the first will be a boat trip to explore the islands of Sirmione and Isola del Garda and the second excursion will be a day trip to the historic city of Verona, a World Heritage Site. There will be an informative Bridge programme led by Jack who will teach Andrew’s lessons and supervise the set hands.
Book your own flights: British Airways fly from Heathrow to Milan Linate and if you choose a specific flight as listed in our brochure, then you can join our coach transfers to/from the hotel. Please book early as last time this holiday was fully booked with a wait list.
