After the great success of our previous summer holiday to the 5* Radisson Blu Hotel in 2010 we are delighted to be making our long-awaited return to the ancient island of Malta. The hotel overlooks the Mediterranean and all bedrooms have sea views.
The hotel is enviably located in St. George’s Bay directly overlooking the Mediterranean Sea: the 5* Radisson Blu Resort, St. Julian’s, offers panoramic views along the northern coast of Malta, stretching all the way to the sister island of Gozo. The hotel is located in a peaceful and quiet area, just a kilometre away from St. Julian’s with its fashionable hotspots, restaurants and casino. The average temperature for September is 28°C. As always, there will be two interesting excursions; The Three Cities tour commences with a cruise around one of the world’s deepest natural harbours and a backdrop to the two Great Sieges of 1565 and 1942. On the second excursion, you will have a full day guided tour of the Capital city of Valletta and Malta’s old capital city, Medina, also known as The Silent City.
There will be an informative and fun Bridge programme led by Jack Stocken who will teach Andrew Robson’s lessons and supervise the set hands. Paddy Buckley and Helena Gaynor will co-host the first week, Grazyna Wrobel and Suzi McArthur the second.
Book your own flights: If you book the specific Air Malta flight listed in our brochure then you can join our coach transfers to/from the hotel. BA and Easyjet also fly from Gatwick and other UK and Scottish airports. Please book early as last time this holiday was fully booked with a wait list.
