Suzi and Paul have found the luxurious 4* Superior Hotel Alpin Juwel in the charming Austrian village of Hinterglemm.
The hotel is just a one minute’s walk away from the ski lifts. Saalbach is one of Austria’s largest ski areas with 270km of pistes and over 70 lifts. Click here to read an article listing Saalbach as having the second best snow record in Europe. Fly to Salzburg with BA which is just 90 minutes from the hotel.
The hotel has excellent cuisine, spacious bridge room and superb spa facilities which include indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
Hinterglemm is a mainly traffic free resort town set in picturesque alpine mountain area in the Saalbach valley which is orientated east west with ski slopes either side of the river Saalach. The hotel provides easy access to the nearest ski slope being about a 1 minute walk. The slightly larger resort town of Saalbach is situated about 2km downstream from Hinterglemm and is also largely traffic free. A four resort network of ski pistes and modern lifts links Hinterglemm to Saalbach, Fieberbrunn and Leogang giving access to 270km of pistes up to an altitude of 2044m with varying degrees of difficulty. The area is very scenic with many tree lined runs and has a good snow record.

Jack Stocken will be arranging all other aspects of the holiday and he will be hosting an informative and entertaining Bridge programme using Andrew’s excellent teaching material and set hands. The bridge (and skiing!) standard is friendly Intermediate.
